Diana was a cool person
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Chris O’Donnell let folks know that Princess Diana was a pretty cool, down to Earth person.
O’Donnell told Colbert that he and his family sat next to Princess Diana during a Royal Premier for his movie In Love and War.
O’Donnell said that he was about 25 or 26 years old during the time and that he brought his mother, father, and sister Sally along.
He said that while he and his family were sitting at the table with Princess Diana, his mother decided to try on Princess Diana’s jewelry.
“She let my mom try on her jewelry. She was unbelievable…She had her rings on. She had her earrings on, “ O’Donnell told Colbert.
O’Donnell also told Colbert that after Princess Diana left the table, his sister Sally took Princess Diana’s “teaspoon and put it in her purse.”
And yes, Sister Sally “still has” the teaspoon as a souvenir from her dinner with Princess Diana.
